today s usual... sell mooncake at lobby...
yst got tis african man approached me
n said he wil buy when he returns from dinner
i trusted him since he approached me 1st
he said he wil have a quick dinner nearby
but he 'put me pigeon'
so bad...
then today he approached me again n said he wants to buy
he gave me $10 dollars
then i kindly told him it costs $47
then he shocked haha
then he faster flee n say he wil b back shortly
but im not gg to believe him again
indeed he dint show up...
next got tis old woman
her appearance like begger
sorry to say tat but its true
she has white curly n messy hair
wit a hat
n torned shirt n shorts
carrying many barang barang
she came n started asking me abt the mooncake
(she speaks eng)
so s usual i intro each n every kind to her
she ate MANY realli MANY pieces
half of the samples were gone
wads worst is tat:
we had tis cover to cover the sample for hygiene purpose
so i open half of the cover onli
but guess wad? she can stretch all the way inside juz to get the biggest piece
while she is toking to me, she kept eating
n somemore use 1 toothpick to take many pieces at 1 go
tis was our conversation:
me: most of the singaporeans wil prefer the durian mooncakes
she: r u not singaporean?
me: yes, i am a singaporean
she: then u shld say 'we, singaporeans n not juz singaporeans'
nowadays singaporeans' eng is becoming poorer...
(LOL! wth, im like erms.... oh then she continued...)
she: tis ting until when?
(then i purposely indirectly shoot her back thou i understand wad she was trying to convey)
me: huh? i dun get u.. oh u mean when wil i b selling until?
we wil b here till 25 sep... i agree wit u tat singaporeans's eng is not v gd...
(then she looked at me for a while then took many pieces b4 leaving)
wa seh i damn shuang... sorry for being rude but realli cannot tahan...
n the worst ting is when i told shuxian n rachael abt her
they encountered weird stuffs from her s well!
1st was rachael, tis was their conversation:
she: can u give me a strong tea bag n wrap it wit tissue paper so tat nobody wil know wad i am drinking?
rach: strong tea bag? we have blah blah blah....
she: no no these r not strong enuff
(rach then asked our captain n he showed her 6 diff tea bags for her to choose)
she (told captain): u shld educate yr staffs.. she dun even know wad is strong tea bag..
(after getting her strong tea bag which is not strong at all,
she went on to pester another staff for green tea but we dun provide green tea)
ok next is shuxin, tis was their conversation:
(when the woman is eating her mooncake samples again)
xin: do u wan to buy a box or so?
she: dun push me! cant u c im trying? tis is the prob wit singaporeans.. blah blah blah
LOL she is not trying lo, she is practically eating lo
s if it was her dinner or dessert...
next got tis jap guy who can speak chinese
he like trying to show off to me n his fren tat he knows chinese
he spoke to me in chinese
thou his eng is better n his fren do not understand chinese
then whenever he ans me qn in chinese i wil purposely reply in jap
thou i know onli basic jap but stil can manage
this was our conversation:
(he spoke to me all in chinese thou not v accurate)
he: is tis ex?
me: iie, kore wa yasui desu. (no, tis is cheap)
he: oic, wad is tis?
me: kore wa ocha to durian to chocolato desu
(tis is green tea, durian n chocolate)
he: ok, frm wad time to wad time wil u b here?
me: gosen jyuu-ji han kara gogo ku-ji han made desu
(from 10.30am to 9.30pm)
he: oic, which one u like personally?
me: watashi wa ocha ga suki desu
(i like green tea)
nani ga suki desu ka
(which one u like)
he: durian
me: kaitai desu ka
(do u wan to buy)
he: give me box of lotus mooncake (cuz its the cheapest)
me: daijoubu
(no prob).... arigato gozaimasu
he: good nite
me: oyasumi nasai
(good nite)
